Established in 2012, Lakshyam is an NGO that uplifts children and women of at-risk communities through education & employment it is devoted to the destitute and suppressed communities, especially women and children. 

We at Lakshyam vowed to put an end to this widespread violation of people’s fundamental rights, especially of women and children residing in the slums of metropolitan cities. We aim to empower them through education and employment by implementing models of development that are tailored to the needs of the community. Lakshyam has taken crucial initiatives to transform the lives of the not so privileged and focuses its actions on child education, holistic child development and women empowerment. Functional through 17 centers across India and impacting 17 states, Lakshyam actively operates on a national scale and its projects extensively address the humanitarian condition of communities in need. Lakshyam is trying to make the exhausting lifestyle of India’s street children and families easier to bear while allowing them to have a brighter future. By schooling the children and training the elders on specific jobs towards employment possibilities via our remedial centers, many of them don’t have to pursue their hard routine of begging or rag picking. For this, Lakshyam is vigorously involved in diverse activities which range from camps, workshops to comprehensive learning classes and creative activities that are specially designed to cater to the needs of the disfavoured individuals.

Lakshyam has organised programmes such as – Butterfly- Child Welfare and Education (wherein basic education is provided to impoverished children through comprehensive learning methods), Lakshyam Toy Library (wherein the child’s growth is supplemented using educational toys, games and books in an environment which cultivates and encourages the child’s imagination and creativity), Rooh – Awakening Women’s soul (wherein women are empowered to generate self-employment and a means of income using training of vocational and professional skills).

To help and empower the less advantaged children and women by putting at least 500 street children,dropouts to formal schooling system by 2021 and to increase the income by Rs 5000 of at least 200under our women empowerment program

• Lakshyam’s main focus is to make every child capable to complete their education till 5th standard because if discontinued post 5th, they can still find oppotunities.

Lakshyam has a proven history of creating an impact in the lives of 2 lakh individuals directly. Also, Lakshyam has completed several CSR projects of different corporate like Black Rock, Samsung, Reckitt Benckiser, Safexpress, CAF, Ram JethMalani Foundation etc. & still working with many Other corporates.

We have few really life changing success stories & while working with a corporate we also ensure the team of the specific corporate is also involved in for of Employee Engagement activities and in CSR Engagement. They stories feature getting to know a community and its issue, demonstrating commitment to a cause/belief, gaining satisfaction from helping others, donating their professional skills, learning something new, Helping someone less fortunate, feeling good by doing good, becoming an agent of positive change

From 2012-2020 our success has been commendable from benefitting 58000 children from 75 Govt. Schools to benefitting around 2 Lakh through community development initiatives. Since 2012 around 300000 lives have been impacted directly, 700000 lives have been impacted indirectly and 37 awards have been recieved
