Wadhwani Initiative for Sustainable Healthcare (WISH) is improving the quality of and access to primary healthcare for under-served communities in India.  WISH is implementing healthcare models through partnerships with state governments, international agencies and the private sector; and by appropriately introducing promising healthcare innovations in the public health system - to build an equitable, innovation-led and evidence-based healthcare system that puts quality healthcare within easy reach of the poor.

WISH model of primary healthcare service delivery programs include:

• Transforming under-performing health centres in 11 districts of Rajasthan;
• Urban model of providing technical and management assistance to the Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics in Delhi;
• A user-paid urban healthcare delivery model (PEHAL Clinic) in Gurugram, Haryana;
• An urban model of dengue prevention and healthcare service in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh; an urban technical support program of strengthening primary healthcare delivery in Madhya Pradesh;
• Establishing an identified district in Uttar Pradesh as a model district delivering comprehensive health care service package; and
• Strengthening primary healthcare delivery in the tea estates of Upper Assam
