ChildFund strives to ensure that deprived, excluded, and vulnerable children have the capacity to improve their lives and become young adults, parents, and leaders who inspire lasting and positive change in their communities. ChildFund promotes communities whose individuals and institutions participate in valuing, protecting, and advancing the worth and rights of children.

To help deprived, excluded and vulnerable children living in poverty, have the capacity to become young adults, parents and leaders who bring lasting and positive change to their communities.

Through their unique programs, ChildFund provides comprehensive support to children from birth until they reach 24 years of age through holistic interventions integrating health, nutrition, gender, education, livelihoods, and child protection.
ChildFund’s interventions are aligned with age-specific and contextual needs, utilizing a unique Life Stage approach based on children’s experiences of deprivation, exclusion, and vulnerability:
Life Stage 1: Maternal Health and Early Child Development (ages 0-5)
Life Stage 2: Childhood and Adolescence (ages 6-14)
Life Stage 3: Youth/Young Adults (age 15-24)
Gender equality and humanitarian relief work are also key focus areas that cross-cut programming across all Life Stages.
ChildFund’s unparalleled longstanding community presence and long-term partnerships with grassroots NGOs ensures that the programming fosters an enabling environment where children can grow to their fullest potential. ChildFund works in tandem with communities, the government, academic institutions and corporates to strengthen child protection systems in order to prevent violence against children and protect them from abuse, neglect and harm.
