Yatha Green Council of India, (YGC India is not just an organization it’s a movement) a section 8 company registered with ROC Delhi is an organization advocating for the environment. To be the voice that’s needed. We are a non-profitable organization to protect, sustain and grow back to our ecosystem. YGC India focuses to be transformed from an individual idea into a social and cultural movement, where a collective power and a mass platform is required to sustain the long-term goal of environmental consciousness. In the bigger picture, time is abstract but for us humans, our years are numbered and so is our mother Earth's. We as species thrive when we co-habitat with nature as we have a dependent bond with each other. Our clock's ticking and this is our opportunity to take action to revive not just ourselves as species but as living beings.  

We aspire to follow a path by planting a native plant-based forest in urbanized areas to enrich our ecosystem to balance the order. We seek to up-bring our native plants to sustain in their native land for the benefit of the ecological balance.

OUR VISION:

The very thought of Environment and Agriculture should be taught from Kindergarten to High School as a part of their regular learning program. The Korean Government in 1981 implemented environmental education for schools in the 4th national curriculum council.

OUR INITIATIVE:

This academic year 2022 – 2023 YGC India has initiated 3 model schools (2 CBSE & 1 State Board) where environment and Agriculture will be implemented as part of their regular classes starting from 6th standard to 9th standard. The school management will allocate two periods per week per class. This initiative of YGC India was named e a tech lab (Environment & Agriculture Tech Lab). This is 100% Free to the end user (Both school and students).

• Promoting special education on Environment and Agriculture
• Curriculum starting from 6 th to 9 th std developed by NGO
• Afforestation will be part of school project
• Restoration of the water bodies will be part of the school project
• Real time land cultivation and home farming

e a tec lab (Environment & amp; Agriculture Tech Lab ): A unique initiative by YGC India, this academic year 2022 – 2023 we wanted to create 3 model schools in Chennai, one CBSE, and one Government State Board School. We will achieve this target and will be on the verge of implementing this unique program in the schools. These schools will be the center of social activities and stand as an example to society and the surroundings by creating social (environment) awareness in the public. These schools as social responsibility will also create Forest (Man Made Forest) in a barren land near their school, and also restore one water body as part of their e tec lab social activity.All this is free of cost to the Children & amp; the School.
