Ishanya Foundation is a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd.  Ishanya Foundation is a registered trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950, April 2006.

Ishanya Foundation conducts several outreach programs in Livelihood skills, in and around Pune and also in villages around Taloja in Panvel Taluka, in Raigad District. These programs cover the areas of:

• Women Empowerment
• Livelihood programmes
• Health & Education

Foundation helps develop self reliant & self sufficient youth; pre-dominantly women and farmers & their families by extending affordable short term courses and offering huge subsidies that will fetch them a livelihood and/or get secondary source of income.

Ishanya Foundation also networks & develops linkages with like-minded NGOs & International social organisations, Central & State Government to give added value to their endeavour of providing livelihood programs & secondary source of income programs.

Foundation provides need based health initiatives with a special focus on the eyes, especially Avoidable Blindness and Diabetes.

They take initiatives in Relief Programs whenever natural calamities strike.
